Seeds In My Pocket

The cohort decided to name their exhibition, “Hay ___ en Casa” which explored themes of belonging and joy as form of resistance. The open-ended question: "What exists as a home?” By filling in the blank, each artist defined home on their own terms — rooted in joy, resistance, care, and survival.

A calendar of “Nuestro Chicago” was made for this exhibition that featured questions from the 1 year anniversary that attendees were able to answer. The calendar was up alongside pieces that reminded Thais of their favorite home, their grandparents.
